Vernon, Coldstream Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive Returns for 2024

The BC Thanksgiving Food Drive (BCTFD) is holding its 17th annual event and invites residents of Vernon and Coldstream to participate from September 7 to September 21. This province-wide initiative supports food banks by collecting non-perishable food and financial donations.

Last year, the drive collected 29,787 pounds of food in Vernon/Coldstream, contributing to the 21,800 volunteer hours logged across more than 100 communities in BC. Volunteers will once again distribute donation bags between September 17 and 19, with collections scheduled for the morning of Saturday, September 21.
