Sunday December 29th: BX/Swan Lake Fire Rescue responded to reports of a car fire early Sunday morning in the 7900 block of Greenhow Road, Vernon.
Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The vehicle was located in a mostly empty parking lot between the Castle Hotel and Splashdown Vernon.
There were no reports of injuries, and the cause of the fire remains undetermined. The RCMP were also on the scene.
The incident was resolved shortly before 7 a.m.
