As part of a Trans-Canada Highway improvement project, preparations are underway to replace the RW Bruhn Bridge with a modern four-lane structure.
The RW Bruhn Bridge replacement is part of a $260.5 million upgrade aimed at improving safety and traffic flow along the Trans-Canada Highway corridor.
The project includes four-laning a 1.9-kilometre stretch of Highway 1, enhancing local intersections, and providing safer routes for pedestrians and cyclists.
Construction is expected to continue through 2027.
