Trump Wins in a Landslide: The 47th President of the United States

TRUMP 295 Harris 226

Donald Trump has won the presidency for a second time, securing his place as the 47th President of the United States and marking one of the most remarkable political comebacks in U.S. history.

Trump took to the stage as supporters chanted 'USA,' thanking his team, family, and wife, Melania. He said, 'This is a movement like none seen before.' Trump vowed to secure the border and help the country heal as the U.S. moves toward a golden age.

Republicans also took control of the Senate and kept control of the House of Representatives.

Trump Wins

At 11 PM PT Donald Trump had 266 electoral votes, Harris 188, with half a dozen states yet to finalize vote totals prompting calls the election was won.

At that point on election night Harris would have had to perform a miracle, garnering almost all the outstanding electoral votes to beat Trump.

Donald Trump also captured the popular vote, further solidifying his unprecedented return to the Oval Office.

To win, a candidate needs a majority of 270 electoral votes out of 538 to win the presidency.

Trump is now the only president, aside from Grover Cleveland in the late 1800s, to win two non-consecutive terms.

Despite numerous legal battles and surviving two assassination attempts, Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in a decisive victory. Senator J.D. Vance will join him in the White House as Vice President.

Trump's administration is expected to include prominent figures such as Elon Musk and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who are anticipated to bring their expertise to the table. Musk will likely hold an advisory role focused on technology and initiatives that merge government and private sector efforts.

Kennedy Jr., known for his unique health perspectives and advocacy on controversial public health issues, is expected to assume a "health czar" role, where he would address chronic disease and oversee pharmaceutical accountability. His alignment with Trump’s health policies could reshape U.S. health policy toward increased health freedom and child health advocacy.

Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who publicly shifted her support to Trump and Kennedy Jr., is also seen as a key advisor. Her extensive experience in national security and her anti-establishment views complement Trump’s defense and foreign policy goals, particularly on non-intervention.

While the final numbers from the November 5th election are being finalized, the decisive victory speaks for itself.
