November 8, 2023. Early morning on November 6th, 2023, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on 25th Avenue in Vernon.
The incident was reported at 4:40 a.m. Despite efforts by Vernon Fire Rescue Service and BC Emergency Health Service personnel the critically injured male victim did not survive.
The victim's identity is being withheld. The vehicle was traveling eastbound. The RCMP is investigating.
