Pre-Construction Work Begins for New Roundabout
February 6, 2025 – Preliminary work for a new roundabout at Pleasant Valley Road and 39th Avenue is set to begin next week.
Timeline:
February 10-21, 2025 – BC Hydro crews relocate utility poles. Traffic will be reduced to a single alternating lane, causing minor delays. Drivers should use caution and give space to roadside workers.
March 2025 – Full roundabout construction begins.
Fall 2025 – Project completion, including new street lighting, a pedestrian-controlled crosswalk, anti-skid pavement, and drainage improvements to enhance safety and traffic flow.
