When Is Election Day?
Election Day: Monday, April 28
Advance Polls: Open April 18–21, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Where Do I Vote?
You can vote:
On Election Day (April 28) at your assigned polling station.
At advance polls (April 18–21).
At any Elections Canada office by April 22, 6 p.m.
By mail (Apply by April 22, 6 p.m.. Ballot must arrive by April 28.)
Who Can Vote?
You must:
Be a Canadian citizen
Be 18 years old on or before April 28
Prove identity and address
Even if you’re turning 18 on election day, you can vote early.

What ID Do I Need?
To vote, you must prove both identity and address.Options include:
Government-issued ID with name & address (e.g., driver's license)
Two pieces of ID, one with address (e.g., health card + utility bill)
No ID? Someone who knows you can vouch for you.
Special Circumstances
You can still vote if you are:
Homeless (with a letter from a shelter or community service)
In a long-term care or retirement facility
In hospital or correctional institution
In the Canadian Forces or living abroad

Can I Take a Selfie With My Ballot?
No. It’s illegal to take or share a photo of a marked ballot.
